It hit me...literally!!

What am I doing awake not sure but since I'm up I decided to post my "salmon" shots.
     
     When I read it was salmon my mind immediately though of a more orange hue way different than the "pinkish" it really is. This color really did find me....it's amazing the things that one walks by on a daily basis without noticing. I have walked by this bush or plant or shrub whatever you might want to call it for over a year yet most of the time I just thought of it as another drought tolerant plant specific to the desert with not much color or interest really...but on one of my many walks it really did hit me on the face because it's blooms grow much taller than the shrub and it kind of seems to happen over night. The blooms themselves have no smell but they are quite pretty. It also grows a green pod which my boys think is eatable but we haven't confirmed it yet.

Project 64 / week 22 / Salmon

I have so much to say but for some reason here lately don't know exactly how to put them together. It's summer so I'm most of the time chasing my boys around doing things to entertain them. I hope next week I can get myself to share with my little group of readers some of the things we have been doing. Until next time have a great weekend.
